Overview
This job will compile, evaluate and analyze salary data during the job evaluation process. Consults with hospital leadership and Talent Acquisition staff when making recommendations for starting pay rates or changes to existing employees’ pay rates. Conduct analysis of jobs, hourly wages, salaries, and incentives in order to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance of the hospital’s pay practices, policies and procedures. Using MarketPay, completes salary surveys and analyzes data to make recommendations for pay ranges for new jobs and changes to pay ranges for existing jobs to ensure market competitiveness. Educate and advise employees, managers, and outside customers regarding salary-related concerns. Assists other compensation, benefits and HRIS staff with special projects as requested.

Responsibilities
- Job evaluation and market review. Conduct analysis of jobs, hourly wages, salaries, and incentives in order to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance of the organization’s pay practices. Develops, recommends and writes job evaluation and compensation procedures. Audits evaluation of jobs and application of existing job classifications to individuals.
- Reviews and makes recommendations for changes to individual employees and/or groups of employees pay rates as a result of a job evaluation, promotion, demotion or request for a salary adjustment. Ensures recommendations are in compliance with organization policy and budget. May assist managers and recruiters to determine starting salary for new employees.
- Acts as a Compensation Business Partner within HR as well as to all leaders in the hospital.
- Using MarketPay completes local, regional, and national salary surveys. Responds to internal requests for survey data. Conducts other salary-related surveys.
- Reviews Infor actions to ensure proper documentation of base rate, FLSA status and other salary-related changes for each payroll cycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (required)
- in Human Resources, Business, or other related degree AND 7 or more years compensation related experience
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, PHR and/or CCP Required Upon Hire
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, PHR and/or CCP Required Upon Hire
Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $34.47, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
