Americo is hiring a Payroll Administrator to join our team. This job will facilitate payroll for 500+ employees ensuring all aspects of the payroll cycle, including tax, benefits, wages, etc. are processed, reconciled, audited, and transmitted accurately and timely. The Administrator will maintain and coordinate the Bonus Incentive, and deferred comp processes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research and resolve Associate queries, ensuring a high level of service
- Track and manage all necessary paperwork for tax deductions, benefits, and garnishments
- Manage payment calendars for the fiscal year
- Stay up-to-date on local, state, and federal payroll tax laws
- Facilitate the employee change process in various Americo’s systems: change forms, memos, filing RCAs
- Manage the personnel files for all Associates, ensuring that all electronic files are up-to-date
- Process stop payments, reversals, off-cycle payrolls, and manual checks as needed
- Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate GL reporting
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong Excel skillset
- Experience with ADP and its reporting functions
- Ability to work with varying levels of management
- 3 – 5 years of experience with payroll
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus
