We are seeking a full-time Human Resources Manager in our Olathe, KS location.  In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of generalists focused on managing associate relations for designated areas.

Essential Functions

  • Provide guidance, coaching and training to human resources representatives and/or management and assist with resolution of questions, concerns, and/or issues that arise
  • Manage and administer human resources programs, policies, procedures and training
  • Analyze department costs and work closely with executive and HR management team to evaluate, update, and/or generate more efficient and cost-effective company policies, procedures, programs, and/or training solutions
  • Work closely with legal counsel on compliance related matters; participate in internal and external audits
  • Train team members and participate in the review and feedback to managers of associate performance management
  • Partner with the professional development team on talent reviews, succession development and human resources focused training
  • Analyze HR metrics and generate strategic plans to address areas for improvement
  • Develop and deliver human resources training
  • Serve as a company representative within the community
  • Assist with business activities related to mergers, acquisitions, and integrations as needed
  • Confer with managers and supervisors to guide and coach on employee relations matters and company policies and procedures

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or related field AND a minimum of 5 years Human Resources experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of associate relations experience
  • 2+ years of previous experience supervising associates
  • Must have proven experience dealing with confidential Human Resources matters
  • Proficient computer skills in Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be positive, flexible, detail oriented, organized, team oriented and a driven problem solver, multi-tasker, and self-starter with the ability to prioritize and lead in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent presentation skills and public speaking experience
  • Must be willing to travel
