Meet the Panelists
Burke Walker - Spring Venture Group
Burke heads the strategy and processes that build and maintain Spring Venture Group’s award-winning culture. Burke oversees global HR operations including talent acquisition, learning and development, employee experience, internal communications, total rewards, HR business partnerships, licensing, and facilities.
Burke is also an integral part of our senior strategy team, working with senior leadership to ensure that all facets of HR support business needs. He is a highly accomplished executive with 20+ years of experience, having led HR programs for companies like NASB, Applebee’s, H&R Block, and Sprint.
Terry Gaylord - Epiq
Terry Gaylord is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Epiq, a global legal services provider. He leads the global HR function in providing strategic people and cultural-related solutions and services to all business units and infrastructure across the enterprise.
With more than 20 years of experience across multiple industries, Terry brings in-depth knowledge, experience and expertise across the disciplines of human resources, organization development, talent management, leadership and culture. Prior to Epiq, Terry worked in various leadership capacities at JPMorgan and Payless ShoeSource.
Terry holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Illinois Wesleyan University and a doctorate in industrial and organizational psychology from Kansas State University.
Wendy Hill - Netsmart
Wendy oversees the human resources organization and associate experience. She is responsible for aligning the company’s workforce to meet business objectives and for growing and developing internal talent.
With more than 20 years of experience leading HR and talent management functions, Wendy brings expertise in talent recruitment and development initiatives that foster high-level performance across the entire organization
Wendy holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Kansas. She is actively engaged in community initiatives, currently serving as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for Operation Breakthrough. In addition, she is a member of the Advisory Boards for the Dean of the University of Kansas School of Business and Digital Health KC.
