Legal Recruiting Coordinator – Polsinelli

Polsinelli is searching for a Legal Recruiting Coordinator to perform summer associate recruiting for the firm’s Kansas City office. The Legal Recruiting Coordinator will interact regularly with the Legal Recruiting Team, partners, associates, law school representatives and candidates, and be a proactive representative of the firm. A successful candidate will have strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills. Additional skill sets include the ability to exercise sound judgment and professionalism, demonstrated experience working both independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team, and the ability to prioritize workload to manage multiple responsibilities.

• Maintains summer associate candidate submissions and status updates in the applicant tracking system (ViRecruit) and various other tracking charts daily.
• Handles all aspects of summer associate and callback interview scheduling in ViRecruit and updates, adjusts, and confirms as needed for the Kansas City office and, when requested, assist with additional offices.
• Monitors virtual interviews (through Zoom).
• For in person/in office interviews, coordinates conference room reservations, including video conferences, across time zones and greets candidates when they arrive, escorts them to conference room.
• When applicable, prepares all travel documents for candidates and recruiting staff, including coordination for best options with travel services and candidates.
• Supervises the running of the Summer Associate Program in Kansas City and, when requested, additional offices.
• Attend Summer Associate Events in Kansas City as recruiting point of contact.
• Facilitate on-campus interviewing and job fairs on a firm-wide basis.
• Develop and leverage relationships with law school career services’ departments and organize outreach events to enhance the firm’s brand at target law schools.
• Provide support to the Recruiting Committee in the assigned office(s).
• Collaborate with and support, as needed, the members of the Legal Recruiting team.
• Conducts research projects, as requested, for the Legal Recruiting team.
• Maintains a high level of confidentiality at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• A minimum of two (2) year of legal recruiting experience including experience with an Applicant Tracking System (viRecruit, LawCruit, or equivalent) is preferred.
• A minimum of three (3) years in previous law firm (or equivalent professional) experience is preferred.
• Must have strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel and possesses the aptitude to learn other applications as defined by department needs.
