Human Resources Generalist – Sizewise

We are currently seeking a Human Resource Generalist for our headquarters located in Kansas City (Lenexa, KS). This role is the subject matter expert in reporting HR Data, compliance reporting, acts as the liaison with the Payroll Department and assists in development & maintenance of compensation data.

  • Support the maintenance of the human resources management systems in addition to other systems utilized within the department. Ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities;
  • Performs research and maintains the companywide compensation program; reviewing as needed to ensure competitive rates; provide findings and suggestions to management;
  • Compiles data for compliance reports including EEO, Veterans, Affirmative Action and others for management review and filing;
  • Responsible for companywide time collection practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years relevant experience; 2+ years of experience in Human Resources preferred
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred
  • Experience working with HR systems (ADP, Oracle/Taleo, Payfactors preferred)
  • Skilled Excel user to facilitate data collection and reporting

Knowledge of the following:

  • Recruiting and staffing logistics;
  • Federal and state regulations related to proper classification of employees and timekeeping practices;
  • Federal and state employment law specifically regarding leave such as FMLA and Workers Compensation
