Job Description

The Director of Compensation and Benefits is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the Academy’s compensation and benefits programs, including base pay, incentive pay, health and welfare benefits, and retirement benefits. The position is also responsible to provide leadership on the Academy’s wellness and health promotion initiatives and takes the lead on communications regarding Academy’s compensation and benefits programs. This role works with the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and senior leaders to ensure that compensation and benefits programs support the Academy’s business objectives and meet all legal requirements. Working with others in HR, this role also directs the operations of the Academy’s human resource information systems, including developing, implementing and enhancing internal HR technology systems and processes. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resource Management, Business or related field plus a minimum of 10 years related experience in human resources. Experience in compensation and benefits management is required. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a high work ethic, excellent communication skills, knowledge of HR practices, strategic thinking abilities, strong organizational skills and excellent interpersonal skills. Experience managing vendors and working knowledge of human resource management software preferred.
