Overview
We are seeking a full-time Manager Compensation for our headquarters in the greater Kansas City area.  In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Compensation Program ensuring compensation reflects pay for performance, and is competitive, equitable, and cost efficient while effectively deploying compensation to support associate recruiting and retention, top line revenue and bottom-line profitability.

Essential Functions
Research compensation survey options and complete survey submissions to provide valid and reliable market data for Garmin positions
Conduct comprehensive market competitive analyses of all positions on an annual basis and high demand and high turnover positions as needed with recommended salary range changes to support recruiting and retention
Evaluate positions to provide market competitive and equitable compensation and ensure proper job description documentation and accurate HRIS records
Participate in salary surveys, collect and analyze data, and recommend general range adjustments to maintain market competitiveness
Analyze internal and external data and recommend starting rates to support recruiting effectiveness
Participate in surveys, collect and analyze salary increase/other data and recommend global salary budgets/RSU budgets to support pay for performance and market competitiveness
Develop merit increase, promotion increase, and RSU grant guidelines to support pay for performance, associate recognition, and competitive compensation on a global basis
Plan and manage Common Merit Review, Career Path Review, and RSU grant processes on a global basis to fulfill compensation philosophies in an effective, efficient, and accurate manner
Analyze incentive plan design and results and make recommendations to enhance effectiveness
Manage determination, communication, and payment of incentive awards
Develop and implement compensation communications and training to educate HR generalists, Garmin leaders, and associates on compensation philosophies, plans, processes, expectations and objectives and coaches leaders to make appropriate compensation decisions
Review compensation processes/trends/developments and proactively identify/execute/address issues and opportunities for improvement
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field AND a minimum of 8 years relevant experience OR a Master’s Degree in one of the fields noted above or related field AND a minimum of 6 years relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule)
Applies proficient knowledge of compensation concepts, practices, plans and objectives
Demonstrates leadership and influence skills in managing compensation plans and processes along with the ability to lead and develop associates
Demonstrates proficient knowledge of measurement concepts, data collection, and analysis
Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills 
Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution experience along with well-developed analytical and decision-making skills
Effective internal consulting skills and the ability to build effective relationships
Must be positive, detail and quality oriented, organized, team oriented and a driven problem solver, multi-tasker, and self-starter with the ability to prioritize and lead in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment

Desired Qualifications
Outstanding academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.5)
Knowledge and/or experience with Oracle HR Management systems and compensation management systems
