The Merc Co+op is looking for an HR Generalist to serve over 100 passionate and hard working employees. Candidates will serve both grocery store locations and can be based either in Lawrence or Kansas City, Kansas.
Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and guidance by overseeing talent acquisition, staff retention, training, benefits administration and staff communication.
- Collaborate with managers and directors to achieve the co-op’s goals.
- Develop initiatives, policies and programs to complement existing practices and create consistency across the organization.
- Oversee benefit and compensation plans to ensure cost efficiencies and attractiveness to retain top talent.
