Americo is hiring a full-time Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our expanding team!
The hours for this position are [Hours], on-site at our downtown Kansas City, MO office location.
Overview
The Talent Acquisition department is responsible for attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent to support organizational growth and business objectives.
This role supports hiring managers, business leaders, and candidates and plays a key role in delivering a full-cycle recruiting process, building strong talent pipelines, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience within established guidelines and service level expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full-cycle talent acquisition process to meet company hiring goals.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
- Lead sourcing efforts through multiple channels, including media platforms, networking, recruitment agencies, colleges, universities, and professional organizations.
- Educate, excite, and engage candidates about the company and opportunities, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
- Develop candidate profiles and use targeted sourcing and marketing tactics to build strong talent pipelines.
- Conduct behavior-based interviews to assess candidate fit and present top-tier talent to hiring managers.
- Provide market insights, sourcing strategies, and best practices for interviewing and selection.
- Collaborate on offer development, negotiations, and onboarding to ensure a smooth transition to employment.
- Maintain knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements for interviewing, selection, and hiring.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce recruitment costs.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations throughout the hiring process.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects supporting broader Talent Acquisition and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to identify, engage, and hire top talent while building diverse candidate pipelines.
- Demonstrated experience with sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job boards, resume databases, and other recruiting tools.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and CRM systems.
- Strong interviewing skills, including behavioral-based techniques.
- Experience recruiting across multiple functions, including Finance, Legal, HR, Marketing, and Communications.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting within the financial services or insurance industry.
